Avantix to modernize and maintain the radar signal detection and processing capabilities of the French Navy's maritime surveillance aircraft  

Aix-en-Provence, France – June 10, 2025 

Avantix, an Eviden business (Atos Group), a specialist in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) for more than 40 years, announces the signing of a six-year contract with the Directorate of Aeronautical Maintenance (Direction de la Maintenance Aéronautique - DMAé), for the benefit of the French Navy. This contract covers maintaining operational performance and security, acquiring spare equipment and upgrading the identification and recognition radar solutions installed on the Atlantique 2 maritime patrol aircraft of the French naval aviation (ATL2). 

This contract aims to ensure the long-term viability of the ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) arrays developed by Avantix, which are designed for modular integration on the French Navy’s entire ATL2 fleet.  

This contract will support the operational availability of the French Navy's airborne ELINT capabilities and modernize various equipment related to these systems.
